In one of my previous texts I told you that I really like Prague. The capital city of the Czech Republic is a very interesting place where you can discover a lot. Did you know that more than 1.2 million people live in Prague? The city is located directly at the famous river Moldova and is known for its bridges and other buildings.
Today I would like to tell you about my latest visit in Prague. Besides culture highlights the city also offers culinary highlights – there are a lot of nice restaurants in Prague. One of them is La Bottega di Finestra.
La Bottega di Finestra in Prague
If you read my blog frequently, you might know that I like good food and good restaurants ;). Eating good and healthy food is quite important for me – especially when I am on vacations.
Last time we have been in Prague, my husband and I went to the LaBottegadiFinestra. It is located in the center of Prague, next to the Carl Bridge – and it is not what you would call a typical restaurant. La Bottega di Finestra can be understood as a combination of shop and bistro. They are offering a great variety of delicious Italian delicacies there.
As I sad it is not a typical Italian restaurant in Prague, the concept is very special and unique. The ambience andtheservice in La Bottega de Finestrais outstanding. The well-stocked delicacies department is a treasure trove for gourmets andleaves nothing to bedesired. If you´re looking for something different in Prague, it is definitely the right place to go.
“Dine-in” or “Take-away”?
If you are hungry and looking for a special restaurant in Prague to sit down for a while you can go there and find some nice spots in the front or the back of the shop. You can order breakfast, enjoy a cup of fresh coffee, have a quick lunch from the daily menu or just drink a glass of wine. Of course you can also order some delicious salami, Parma ham or cheese.
Besides meat, cheese wine and other delicacies you can also find authentic Italian pastries. They are freshly baked every day. If you like sweets: They do also offer some really nice desserts.
If you want to buy something to take away, maybe to cook in an apartmentyou can also buy fresh fish or specials cuts of meat. If you prefer having a small “picnic” in the streets of Prague you can also buy the other things I just told you about. For example bread, sweets, ham, cheese or wine. They are also offering a big choice of different salads in La Bottega de Finestra in Prague.
During our last stay in Prague we decided to stay there for late lunch / early dinner. As a starter we took the pumpkin soup. Afterwards I ordered salads from grilled zucchini and quinoa salad. My husband asked for spaghetti a la carbonara – which wasn’t on the menu card but it was no problem for the kitchen to prepare the food. For me this is a perfect sign for high quality services. That´s why I can highly recommend visiting this restaurant in Prague.
